Introduction to Ecommerce
E-commerce is one of the fastest growing areas of the online economy and one that no retailer, wholesaler or business-to-business supplier should overlook.
Introduction to e-commerce is a crash course that explores and explains the different aspects of e-commerce. The course covers a wide range of material, including: the growth of e-commerce; consumer behaviors and shopping trends; starting and running an e-commerce business; and, how to manage it all. Knowledge is the fuel to power you forward, whether you’re just starting out or stuck in neutral.
This interactive course is designed to empower its participants to overcome perceived obstacles and help them to embrace e-commerce in a manner that is best suited to their particular business.
Course takes place every Thursday starting January 24, 2019.
Class dates between March 17-23 will be determined based on participants schedules.

About the Trainer:
Rob has worked in media, both traditional and new media, for the past 35 years.
Rob spent 25 years as a journalist in both print and broadcast, working as a newspaper journalist, editor and bureau chief for The Halifax Herald, and as a freelance broadcaster with CBC Radio. Following his journalism career, in 2007 Rob co-founded Eclipse Media Group Inc., a digital agency, as a partner and executive producer. Over the past decade, Rob’s interest and involvement in e-commerce and digital marketing became specific areas of interest to help clients succeed in this highly competitive environment.
In 2018, Rob became a senior consultant to Eclipse Media on e-commerce and digital marketing. Rob’s other experience includes studying media and brand advertising through the University of Waterloo and teaching media relations training to business groups. Rob is an avid researcher of emerging technologies and digital media trends. He is a strong believer in professional development has taken various courses in communications, coaching, social media and project management.
Rob lives in Bedford with his wife Angela and has four children.
