Human Resource knowledge is the source for creating a healthy and profitable workplace. Good HR practices are required to create an environment where employees are committed to the business success and provide excellent customer service.

All managers are HR Managers; however, business owners and managers rarely receive formal Human Resources training. This can lead to frustration, wasted time and costly mistakes. Issues that are not addressed (or addressed poorly) fester, stagnate growth and interfere with achieving performance goals.

This HR training provides you with the tools and confidence to handle common workplace situations. Topics include hiring the right people, setting expectations, dealing with performance issues and when necessary ending employment. You will also learn how to implement a basic HR structure that will ensure you are legally compliant.

Course takes place every Wednesday starting January 23, 2019.
Class dates between March 17-23 will be determined based on participants schedules.

Course Modules:

  • Successful hiring

  • Employee Handbook Policies

  • Health and Safety Compliance
  • Respectful Terminations
